The Pistol Range is Hot!
Through the efforts and financial contributions of many Club members, the pistol range shed is partially enclosed and sports a new woodstove.
Windows are installed at the shooting bays and the new space is truly inviting on a cold winter's day.
Many members participated in this effort and rather than listing names and leaving someone out, we offer a sincere thank-you to all who worked so hard to make this renovation a reality.
So now you have no excuse for not coming down to the range and having some fun. If you do light a fire in the stove, please make sure that it is safe, and that the damper is closed down before you leave.
We are constantly improving the facilities at Easthampton Fish and Game and welcome any members who can lend a hand to complete these projects. Come to a Membership meeting on the second Tuesday of the month and find out how you can help.

Archery Range Clean-up and Repair
When: July 11, 8:00 a.m. -- Lunch will be provided.
Earlier this year, George Wright put a lot of work into restoring the condition of the archery range. He moved 3-D targets up from the Clubhouse basement and onto the Archery Range stations, cleared paths and shooting lines.
There is still some final repair and cleanup to be completed. If you're an archer, or if you'd just like to help improve the facilities at our Club, please come help complete this work.

Warning! - Do not use high power weapons on steel plate targets!
Matt Gliniak and Paul Horton put a lot of effort into providing the resettable steel target array at the pistol range.
There is a sign asking that only rimfire rifles and .38, 9mm, .45 ACP handguns be used to shoot these targets. No centerfire rifles or magnum handguns!!
Some individual decided that he would see what a .223 round would do to the steel. Surprise, surprise, it put a hole right through it.
Matt took the target to his shop and repaired it; and wouldn't you know someone decided to see if they could put another hole in it. They Succeeded!
Come on guys and gals - These targets were installed for the shooting enjoyment of the membership. Have some respect for the facilities at the Club and the efforts of the folks who spend their free time in making sure that the Club is clean and accessible.
So the Warning! is this ... If you are caught firing a high-powered weapon at the steel targets, your membership at Easthampton Fish and Game will immediately be negated. This is also true for anyone caught intentionally damaging any of the Club's property or facilities. This goes for all Club facilities, be it the Pistol and Rifle Ranges, Trap and Skeet, the Archery Course, the Clubhouse, everything.
Have some respect and consideration for your fellow Easthampton Fish and Game members.
